Introduction
Welcome to the site for the
Nile Bliss Tour
For whom is the Tour
The tour is for adults of any age who have an interest in both yoga
and meditation and are happy to follow a vegetarian, non-smoking and
non-drinking life-style for two weeks (if not following already). Basic
English ability is an advantage but not a necessity if you are traveling
with friends who can translate for you. Where possible we will provide
tour guides who can speak your language.
Spirituality
While on tour, we meditate 2 or 3 times daily: before
breakfast; before lunch (where possible) and before dinner. We will
also keep time for performing yoga exercises at least once a day (unless
circumstances prevent – for example, on the train). Where permitted
and suitable we will take time to meditate in the sacred sites and
scenic places we visit.
About Your Guides
Spiritual Guides
Didi
Anandarama has been an Acarya of Ananda Marga for 30 years.
She is originally from Hungary but grew up in Germany. She has taught
and worked on social service projects in North and Central America,
Europe, SE Asia and is presently based in the Mediterranean region.
She is also a global coordinator for Neohumanist Education, a
holistic system of education practiced in a network of schools and
institutes around the world.
Tour Guides
With a sufficient size of a Tour group the tour guides, accommodation, food and travel arrangements are provided
by one of Egypt’s leading tour operators. Owners, Hussein and
Susan Gaddhouh, are themselves Yoga students and this tour is the
realization of a personal dream.
About Egypt
Suffice it to say that the combination of the
Nile, the desert and some of the world’s most spectacular ancient monuments, makes
Egypt a place that almost everyone would like to visit at least once
in their life. Joining the Nile Bliss Tour makes good sense – you get the
confidence, security and comfort of a tour plus the sentient spiritual
flow of traveling with like-minded people.
