Money/ Visas and other official matters.

  • Registration and Payment: To register please send your name and contact information to the following email address:
    Didi AnandaRama’s email address.

Full price: 1150 EUR for a 10 day tour.

To pay please  contact Didi Anandarama

Note: Final Date for Full Payment is six weeks before start of the Tour.

  • Cancellations and Refunds: Cancellations two weeks prior to the Tour will receive a 75% refund minus bank transfer charges. Only in very exceptional cases can there be a refund once the tour has started. In such case the refund will be 50% of the daily rate, minus 25% of the overall fee (considered as deposit). This is normal practice with any organised tour. What qualifies as an exceptional case is completely up to the discretion of the organisers.
  • Plane ticket: Book your ticket so that you arrive in Cairo one day before the Tour starts.
Even if you are unsure as to whether you will be going yet, book your ticket immediately anyway, some flights are booked out before the middle of the year. It’s easy to cancel in case you change your mind.
  • Information we need: Please e-mail us your:
Name (both legal and, if you have, Sanskrit)
    Address and phone
    Passport details (Nationality and Number)
    Date of birth
Exact details of your arrival and departure (Flight number and time)
Any medical indications or dietary restrictions.
Also inform when you are making your deposit/payment as it is sometimes difficult to tell from the bank statement where a deposit comes from.
  • Passport: Valid at least for 6 months. Check with the embassies if in doubt.
  • Visas: Citizens of the following countries are required to be in possession of a pre-arrival visa: Bosnia-Herzegovina, Croatia, India, Indonesia, Israel, Lebanon, Macau, Macedonia, Malaysia, Montenegro, The Philippines, Russia, Serbia, Slovenia, Thailand, Ukraine and all African countries. Other countries can get visa on arrival. Visas are valid for 30 – 180 days and cost between $15 to $90 depending on the nationality. It is strongly advised, however, to check with your nearest Egyptian consulate to confirm the current status regarding your nationality.
  • Money belt: It is good idea to keep your valuables (money, passport) on your body and under your clothes at all times.
  • Changing Money: Most common currencies can be changed upon arrival at the airport or at money changers in town. If bringing US notes make sure they are the new ones. Old ones are mostly not accepted and if they are you’ll get a much lower rate.
  • Travel Insurance: Please take out travel insurance before you leave in case of any medical emergency.
